Purchased a month ago, its so loud you cannot hear your self think, let alone anyone talking to you. You will get cool, as long as you are standing or sitting exactlyl in front of the unit. i purchased the same BTU as last unit expecting it to cool like that one. Not the case, it will cool a 10x10 room as long as you close the door. otherwise good luck. not worth the money.

Great at keeping the house cool and we love the economy feature that lets the air conditioner come on at intervals and senses the room temperature and then, if necessary, the compressor kicks in and cools the room to your preset temperature.

I recently purchased this unit for my garage to replace one I've had for 12 years. My old unit barely kept up with the Arizona summer heat, so I had to leave my house to garage door open with a fan blowing into the garage when I wanted to work out there. The Frigidaire (same size as my old one) keeps up entirely on it's own...plus it's pretty quiet for a window unit. I never write reviews, but I am so pleased, I had to let everyone know. Great product!

I bought this unit a few years ago and had no problems, but recently it has been leaving a stream of water down my siding. I can find no information on a designated drainage area for condensation online or in these FAQs, I just want to attach a hose to direct water away from the house. Help?

unit fits in older home size windows each window is a different oddball size anyways.this compact unit works great among its useful features is a remote that acts as a thermostat .set to temp you want room then place remote as far as possible unit will run till it reaches desired temp .also i like that it will allow a fresh air mix and also can be used to exhaust stale air .It was easy to install and came with everything you could need .no making covers from cardboard and duct tape .2 thumbs up very satisfied

Worked fine for a week than impossible to control: wouldn't respond to either manual or remote control. Customer service told us that at least three different calls about this issues need to be made before they could take any action. Let it sit for a day or two and then start it again, day or two of 95 + degrees, started again and worked for a full 24 hours before stopping. Quite disappointed and frustrated.

I bought 2 of them because I do not have central AC and I have a 2nd and 3rd Floor that can get up to 90+ of a hot day. With these 2 AC I can watch the thermostat on the AC remote drop the temperature fairly quickly and cool the floors off. What a life saver on hot days.

This is my 3rd window ac like this and I love it. It™™s cooling a 550 sq ft area with no problem. The remote sensor is great - it helps be sure the room stays the perfect temperature. I would not hesitate to recommend this window air conditioner.

This is my 3rd purchase of this air conditioner in the past 10 years. The first and second are still going strong after nearly 10 years at my children™™s mothers home. This third one is in my new home and does great! Buying online can be risky tho, as the one I bought a few months ago came damaged beyond use, and the warranted replacement came in better condition, but was also smashed (broken plastic) on the front corner. I didn™™t complain, as it was much better than the last, but still pretty disappointed as a brand new appliance. Overall, it works great tho! I like my Frigidaire air conditioners.

i bought this about a year ago and it was running great until it stooped for no reason. contacted customer service and they did send me a replacement. when it arrived the deliver service left it on my steps and it rained. so the entire unit got wet. wished they would have ring the doorbell or send a email or text to notify me that they had delivered it. i do not know if the unit works since i got it. i am trying to let it dry out for a week before i plug it in. all together i love the unit so i give it a five stars.

This is our second one of these our last one we had for 7years. We would take it out of the window each winter. This last winter it mildew in it that we could not get at. Husband can't be around mildew. We gave it to a friend who could clean it good enough for him.We like this one and it cools most of our small house.

I got this unit as a fathers day gift 2019,IT's a big unit, very powerful and very capable of cooling a 600 square feet room easily.Most people talk of a unit being Quiet,OK this unit compressor is very Quiet for such a big powerfull unit,But you can clearly hear the fan blowing the output air.You could still hold a conversation near the unit.I highly recomend this unit.

I purchased this window air conditioner from Amazon it arrived bent on both the outside top and right side. I didn't see the damage before it was installed seems to be working fine very cold air. I just hope that nothing inside the unit is damaged. I have decided to keep it because the heat index is over 100 degrees here but I will also be letting Amazon know of this issue.

I purchased this unit 2 years ago. It worked great for a while. Now it will switch on it™™s own between modes, fan speed, temperature, etc. I can not switch anything on the control panel or the remote. It is stuck right now on fan only at a temp of 80 degrees. This should not be happening after only 2 years! I hope Frigidaire stands by their product and makes this right!

This is my 2nd season with this unit. I take it out of the window and store it in my garage in the off season. From day one it did not keep my room at the temp I set it at. Now it has condensation in the temp screen and the buttons do not respond also it will not respond to the remote...... soooooo it is stuck on one temp and i have to unplug it to turn it off!

Bought this model 2 years ago. Installed it and within 2 days had to return it. the control panel stopped responding. They replaced it with a new one and it has worked well for 2 years. Now the control panel stopped responding on this one. It changes on its own. The mode changes. It goes from Fan to Econo to Cool. The thermostat set point changes. The fan speed changes. I work at night and have to try to sleep in the heat of the day. I'm pretty mad that now I'm going to have to spend nearly $500 dollars to replace it.

I received this AC during the winter months through the local electric company energy audit. They replaced my old AC with this new Energy Saver model. I like the way its been working. The only negative is the Economy mode that cycles it on and off. It allows the temperature to rise more than what I would expect it to do before during back on and recool the area. Bottom line: haven't used it much since receiving it and time will tell how long it will last MTBF.

Everything works great, the only issue I have with it is the thermostat, I have it set at 72 and come home from work and it™™s 80 degrees inside and the unit is not running! I have pets and the thermostat concerns me!
